Kung Fu for all
KF4F is led by Coach Ray and co-designed with Yeung Sifu, as part of our school syllabus.
Traditional classes focus on technique, theory, and forms.
But what about strength, balance and fitness?
Skills like coordination and muscularity often get sidelined—they just don’t fit into packed class schedules.
So, students are expected to develop them on their own. But with work and life, time is precious.
This is a challenge not just in Kung Fu, but in dance, MMA, yoga, and many skill-based disciplines.
KF4F Fills That Gap.
We blend traditional northern Kung Fu and Taichi drills with modern fitness training, so you can move better and get stronger—without spending hours memorising forms.
Whatever your lifestyle, KF4F helps you build a stronger, more coordinated, well-rounded body.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
A: Not at all. These arts have lasted for centuries because they build your whole body and mind. In fact, the first 20 to 30 minutes of our traditional classes usually focus on fundamentals like strength, mobility, and coordination.
Actually, there are still many traditional kung fu schools that force students to build up a level of fitness with things like horse stances and holding postures for months before learning routines and forms.
At Kung Fu Quest, we take a more modern traditional approach.
-
A: That’s a common myth. Tai chi and kung fu both require a healthy amount of strength. Muscle helps you control, redirect, and absorb energy—even in self-defense when someone comes at you with real force. Strength and quick reflexes make you more adaptable, not less.
-
A: Not at all. Everyone starts somewhere. You’ll build strength, balance, and mobility as you go. Even simple moves—like standing on one leg or crouching—help you get stronger and more stable over time, no matter your starting point.
-
A: You don’t need to be a martial artist to enjoy KF4F. In fact, it’s a great way to build transferable skills for life—like coordination, confidence, and resilience.
Think of KF4F as your primary and secondary school curriculum, giving you a solid foundation.
Our traditional kung fu school is like choosing a specialised course at university, for those who want to go deeper.
And if you want something truly customised, personal training is always available.
-
A: Absolutely! Coach Ray leads most KF4F classes and is bilingual in Cantonese and English, so language is rarely a problem. For private or online classes, Master Yeung is also fluent in Swedish and Mandarin. We're here to make sure everyone feels welcome and supported, no matter your language background.
