Anya, Germany Yes, Tai Chi can help you loose weight as it burns up energy. When we practice tai chi we are exercising internally as well as externally. Many of my students have told me that they have indeed lost weight since they started training. Obviously we should all watch our calorie intake, but some people are extremely lucky and it seems that no matter what they eat they just do not put on any weight at all. Whether it is through the practice of tai chi and the other Chinese arts that I do, or whether it is that I am one of those fortunate people, I do not seem to put on weight. Please keep on training as I am sure it will help and any help I can give you I will.
